Educational & Nature Programs

Our programs will bring life & inspire kids to the world of Science! 

Kids will learn and have fun with our hands-on programs that allow them to experience being young scientists. 

Our programs are available for request all year round.  We bring the programs to you!

• Ocean life
  In this program, kids will be able to touch a variety of artifacts from the sea such as giant clam shells, variety of snail shells, sea urchins, sand dollars, sharks teeth, corals, whale bones and much more!  They will learn what the environmental issues are affecting the ocean today.  They will also make their own ocean life collection to extend learning.  We can tailor the program to your needs based on age of the audience.

• Amazing Sharks
  This hands-on program, kids will learn about sharks, their importance to the ocean ecosystem and the environmental threats their facing today.  We bring shark artifacts for kids to touch and observe and show a short video of our shark diving adventure. Shark Artifacts are Shark Skins, Shark Teeth (Megaladon), Shark Jaws and Vertebrae.  We can tailor the program to your needs based on age of the audience.

• Coral Reefs
  This class will give students a hands on experience with real corals and other marine life that live on the coral reefs.  Students will be able to touch and observe a variety of corals, sea stars, sea urchins, sand dollars and sea fans.  They also be able to see underwater video recorded on coral reefs from around the world.  We can tailor the program to your needs based on age of the audience.

• Sink or Float, Build a Boat!
  In this program, kids will put together a wooden boat that they can decorate and take home with them.  We can tailor the program to your needs based on age of the audience.

• Bones in a box
  In this program, kids become young paleontologists! Each kid will put the dinosaur skeleton together, and take it home to extend learning. They will also be able to touch real fossils and dinosaur bone replicas.  We can tailor the program to your needs based on age of the audience.

• Fossil Hunting
  In this program, kids will have fun and learn digging dirt like a real paleonthologist.  They will also be able to touch, observe, weigh, measure and learn to identify fossils.  They will keep and take home the fossils they find in their dig to extend learning.  We can tailor the program to your needs based on age of the audience.

• Archaeology Adventure
  In this program, kids will have a fun hands-on experience of being young archaeologist.  They will participate in a simulated dig site discover and learn the rich culture of early Native Americans.  They will make their own take home gemstone arrowhead necklaces.  We can tailor the program to your needs based on age of the audience.

• Geology:  Got Rocks?  It's not a Rock, it's a Mineral!
  In this hands-on program, we bring real mineral specimens that kids will touch, observe, weigh, measure and learn to identify them.  They will experience the fun in mining out their own collection and take it home to extend learning.  We can tailor the program to your needs based on age of the audience.

• Earth Science Day:  We Bring The Museum To You!
  We will setup stations in a gym or cafeteria with different specimens of fossils and minerals from around the world.  Students can visit and rotate to each station through out the day to observe the specimens.  We bring the museum to you!  We can tailor the program to your needs based on age of the audience.
   
• Nature Walk
  A guided beach or woodland walk!  Students will learn about different habitat and animal found in the area.  Location can at at the park or beach near you the school.
